another reason why i love the daybook...

As I have posted before I'm in love with the blog, The Daybook. The love and affection that Sydney and Tyler so one another is so beautiful and special i pray that one day I too will find that. Also, they recently had an adorable baby boy named Everett Stone and he is just one of the cutest babies i've ever seen. Check out her recent post here.  in which her hubby gave her mecca of all rocking chairs....lovely....anyway....
I'm terribly tired from jet lag but did a great deal of wonderful shopping and i'll show everyone what Santa got me and my family tomorrow! MERRY XMAS!!!!!!!!

can't sleep too excited for new york....

I'm going to New York for xmas with the family and I'm beyond excited. Its been two years since we've spent xmas in New York. You see,  my grandmother died and it was just too painful to spend xmas in her house so we decided to go to Walt Disney World and then we still couldn't imagine spending xmas in her house so we spent my first xmas EVER in 22 years at home in California. (needless to say that was super cool)
However, there is something magical about New York City during Xmas. Every building, tree, store front has some sort of holiday motif; and I can never get enough. This year, my family and I will be seeing the New York City Ballet, The Rockettes!!! (a tradition that we have done since I was 5..nbd...) AND  the Big Apple Circus. I'm normally terrified of clowns, but this circus is HILARIOUS. Not just for children but for adults as well. If you are in the New York City area this holiday I would for sure try to see one of these shows. A little expensive but if everyone puts their money together perhaps a xmas miracle could happen?!!

Anyway, here are a few photos I found on tumblr....beautiful models and confidence that radiates outside the photo...yes they are quite exquisite.
Here's to hoping I finally fall asleep...photos of the chaotic mess that is my apartment during packing/ organizing/ and the final product to come shortly!

i fell in love with these ankle booties

the epitome of chic

We got lost looking for a museum in Milan. But we did find this awesome art university. The architecture of the building was built in the 16th high renaissance style. We met this artist and I asked him what it was like to go to school everyday in such a beautiful building..? He answered "well everything is old here, so its no big."I told him that I would love to go to a school this beautiful, and then he offered to show me how to apply. What a gentlemen. Anyway, I was able to take a picture of him while working on one of his many sculptures. It was an unexpected and but really cool adventure.

shot of the boulder creek before I left. I love this creek, especially during the summer so I had to capture it before my European holiday.

Most of these photos I found are from blogs I like to look at for inspiration....

Blog: On the Racks

This is a summer outfit, but it can easily be used as a winter outfit by adding light wash jeans and a heavy knit sweater!
