Update!

I was so thrilled when I checked my email this morning and saw that the winner of Effy's Eyeliner first giveaway, Karina of Beach & Dress, sent me a link of what she purchased with her gift card to Nordstrom! She got the cutest Sam Edelman sandals (see here), and she rocked the look wearing head-to-toe black. Very stylish as usual!

I just wanted to take some time and say how grateful I am to be a part of the blogging world and I look forward to more giveaways, more contacts with fellow bloggers, and to more readers!
Cheers,
S

PS. Has anyone been watching the Euro Cup 2012? I'm so so happy that Spain and Italy are moving on to the semi-finals! yay!!

Generation Z

I'm currently on the east coast visiting family for my cousin's fifth grade graduation and birthday! Yesterday, was her graduation and WOW was I impressed with her and her friends outfits. Children these days are dressing so well it's insane! I also stumbled upon a website that showcased 50 children with the cutest style and demeanor that would make any 20-something's feel like we need to step up our game ASAP. (You can check out the pics of the stylish children here.)
Below are pictures from my cousin's graduation. She looked so grown up with her high waisted skirt and white tank. My little fashionista :)

S

And the Winner IS....

My deepest apology for not announcing the winner on Friday. I hurt my hand climbing and the pain meds they gave me have made it difficult to keep my eyes open... Happy news though! My hand is feeling much better today and I'm very excited to announce the winner of Effy's Eyeliner first giveaway!

The winner is--> Karina De Jesus! She is an amazingly talented blogger and stylist. Please visit her blog, Beach & Dress, and become a follower! She has awesome DIY tips and her photos are to die for, not to mention she has kick-ass style! Congrats!!!

Cheers,
S

**Very excited for tomorrow's shoot and for a new Girls episode tonight! :)

Tulle, Leather, and Pointe Shoes

As I have previously posted, I was super inspired by the photograph of Kate Moss wearing a tulle skirt and a vintage - studded bomber jacket. I have been wanting to use my tulle skirt from Anne Klein for months now, and finally, I was able to wear it!  I hope you all enjoy these photos as much as I had doing them.

I recorded Breaking Pointe, a new reality show about prima ballerinas, so I must go watch! So sad that Games of Thrones is over, but happy that Pretty Little Liars is back! Who else is excited for the new summer shows?

**Remember winner will be announced tomorrow! I will post who the winner is on my blog, facebook page, and twitter. You will also be emailed!
Cheers,
S

one dress, three ways to rock it!

There is nothing I like least than to be called a "repeat outfit offender." So, in this post I was inspired to create an outfit using it's core elements.... the skirt and top. With a few changes, I was able to achieve totally different looks with the same key pieces. Check it out!
cheers,
S
