Today, was a particularly gloomy day here in Colorado. I watched
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and was inspired by her intelligence, independence, and all around bad-ass-ness. I'm probably one of the last people on the planet to watch this movie, but I finally did, and HOLY SMOKES!!! Intense, dramatic, heart-pounding, exhilarating and somewhat saddening all at the same time. Being a daughter of a feminist, I was particularly touched by her heroic spirit. This movie is not for children, but once they are old enough to understand the concepts it is definitely a movie they should watch... or at least read! Yes, remember those strange things called books...at the library...covered in dust by now...yaaa those...have them check it out once they are old enough!!!
